Photo series, 2022 – ongoing
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I felt a physical need for documenting the present state in my hometown. In the first months, capturing everyday life helped to understand what was happening around, and later these photographs became a story of the transformations of the place. For me, “The grey zone” series is an attempt to preserve the memory of a home located on the border, and therefore constantly under the threat of russian occupation.
